Muslim Minority College was established with an objective to promote higher education among Boys and Girls of Muslim community and backward classes who are lagging behind in the field of Education. The Institution has got its goal very successfully and has become one of the colleges of Bhagalpur city. It is situated at the heart of the city and permanently affiliated from T.M. Bhagalpur University , Bhagalpur. It is also registered from University Grants commission , Under Section 2(f) & 12(B) of U.G.C Act, 1956.

• Muslim Education Committee of Bhagalpur realised that there should be an Institution that imparts higher education among the Muslims Boys and Girls so that they may be able to bring up in main stream in all respects by removing ill-literacy as Sachar Committee reported too. So they are needed to seek education to come in main stream by flourishing higher education among them. Education is helpful not only for character building but also it is helpful to build up nation by getting higher education.
